Panorama Route highlights (Part 1)

GREAT, you have arrived in Mpumalanga, checked into a lodge/hotel and you’re interested in the Panorama Route.

𝘉𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘬𝘦’𝘴 𝘓𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘗𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘴

• This site marks the beginning of the Blyde River Canyon. The Potholes were named after a gold digger (chuckles) Tom Bourke.

Entrance fee: R65 for adults and R25 for kids/pensioners


𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘸

• This site is the most beautiful on a clear day and offered a panoramic view of the Lowveld.

Entrance fee: R20 per person


𝘓𝘪𝘴𝘣𝘰𝘯 𝘍𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴

• The highest waterfall on the route

Entrance: R400 a bus/ R15 per person


𝘉𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯 𝘍𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴

• A 45m high waterfall closely located to God’s Window

- 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘴

These three gigantic peaks are named after the three most troublesome wives of Chief Maripi Mashile - they are (from left to right) Magabolle, Mogoladikwe and Maseroto.

Entrance: R35 for adults and R20 for kids/pensioners
